The app provides a user-friendly interface to set desired brightness levels, synchronize configurations across all luminaires, create static/dynamic scenes and schedules, deploy additional smart lighting features, and execute over-the-air device firmware updates (OTA-DFU). Additionally, remote management capabilities allow users to monitor the entire lighting system from a web dashboard supported by cloud connectivity through the "HBGW01" gateway.

Koolmesh's motion sensor technology encompasses high-frequency (HF) microwave, passive infrared (PIR), or a combination of both. These motion sensors come in various form factors suitable for almost any application, ranging from high-bay to low-bay and with IP ratings from IP20 to IP65. The application suite includes HF microwave sensors, PIR sensors with built-in removable motion sensors, integrated motion sensors, standalone PIR motion sensors, and optional touch panels for manual control of lighting fixtures.

Moreover, daylight sensors (photocells) read ambient daylight lux values, providing further lighting control functionalities. Advanced environmental learning algorithms enable luminaires to calculate artificial light produced by neighboring fixtures, aiding in achieving the most accurate constant light, maximizing energy savings, and enhancing user experience.

The nRF52832 SoC, combining the Arm Cortex M4 processor with a 2.4GHz multi-protocol radio supporting Bluetooth 5, ANT™, and proprietary 2.4GHz RF software, offers Bluetooth 5 support, including doubled raw data bandwidth (2Mbps), eight times the advertising capacity with extended advertising features, and improved coexistence algorithms.
